About us
We are just like you. We are urban folks, hipsters by night, fashionable professionals by day. That’s why we tailored Likebees to the taste and needs of our friends, we asked them what they would like it to be, look and feel and we made it just like that.
Obviously there’s a lot more to come which will make Likebees even more like you want it, but we had to start from somewhere…so here it is: try it, enjoy it, tell us what you think.
We believe if we do each bit a bit better, we end up with a hell of a lot better!
So what is it then?
Likebees is a new and engaging way of discovering, experiencing and sharing the coolest things to do in town with your friends, and saving money while doing all this!
Aren’t we all looking for something different, unique and fun to do to escape from the daily routine? Don’t we all need some great tips? And wouldn’t it be nice if we could also save some money in the meanwhile? Likebees provides all that to you.
Ok, but what kind of cool stuff? Let’s put it that way, if it is something that we would not tell our best friends about, you won’t find it on Likebees. Because this is all about sharing and as Seneca wisely phrased it back in his days: “There is no delight in owning anything unshared”.
How do we do that?
Well, it’s all thanks to you guys really…it’s the power of group-buying! We manage to negotiate attractive discounts with our merchants by promising a minimum number of customers. So if enough people buy into the deal, everyone gets it, otherwise no one does. Easy, right?
Why bees? And why “Likebees”?
Bees are social, they live, work and play in large groups. Quite amazingly, their social organisation is in many respects similar to our own. And they also play a vital role as they serve as agents of cross-pollination for all natural flora, transporting pollen from one flower to the other (don’t we all spread the word when we’ve got something awesome to share?)
This is why the Bee to be our official Mascot. Ultimately, you will be swarming to our deals just like bees to honey!
